Spaceship

I started this drawing listening to Brian Eno’s Discreet Music (the album, not just the wonderful title track) and ended it listening to Ambient 4: On Land. The music I listen to while working can dramatically influence the piece that I create. This one is more structured and orderly than most of what I’ve done recently, with unifying themes and localized embellishments. I think of these abstracts as visual analogs to musical compositions.

Shipping to the rest of the world will cost more so contact me if you live outside of the US and want to buy this work and we’ll figure something out. If your order it matted or matted and framed the size of the mat will be 16″x20″ with a 10.5″x13.5″ cutout, the frame will be slightly larger than that (like 18″x22″).
