The Shipwreck

I have to admit I almost gave up on this one, but now I am quite proud of it. There was a point last night where I got so frustrated I started blotching out big parts of the composition with white acrylic paint. Then, late at night, I attacked it with black acrylic paint. This morning, being of more sound mind and body I was able to see the picture that was trying to come out.

Music included “Who Killed Amanda Palmer” by the redoubtable Ms. Amanda Palmer, Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys’ self titled album, “Witching Hour” by Ladytron, “Let it Die” by Feist, and Evelyn Evelyn‘s self titled album (as of yet unreleased, soon to be pre-orderable, I forget if it’s supposed to be a secret that I have a copy, anyway, it’s good you are all in for a treat).
