40" x 30" acrylic on canvas

Once upon a time there were some unhappy raindrops. They fell from the sky and landed in the ocean where they because part of the salty sea until one day the oceans boiled away and all of Earth’s water was blown into space by the cosmic wind. As the unhappy raindrops scattered atoms dispersed across the cosmos they were kept calm and secure by the firm belief that in the future they would be reunited with themselves at the end of the universe when everything finally comes together.

I don’t know what Marm is doing up there. Clearly she is the star of the show, but I do wish she were a little bit happier about it. I guess she just has a concern for what is going on in this painting. And what is going on in this painting? Mostly what is going on is that there are a number of broad swooshy brush strokes and also some drawing with the thin black brush and then also lots of spraying the canvas down with the mister to get all that fancy dripping action we’ve come to love so much.

Lots of drips on this 40″ x 30″ gallery depth canvas.
