I just love where this is going. Sometimes you have to paint dark and moody paintings, and other times you have to paint light and moody paintings. I like the interaction between the swirls and the drips and the lines. I’m applying some paint by throwing it, affecting thin traces of paint terminated in larger splatters, and then mimicking the effect in a larger scale with a brush. There are secret octopods all over this painting, but they are too well camouflaged to ever be found.
This painting is on a 40″ x 30″ gallery depth canvas and would look stunning above any contemporary living room’s couch, in the office, and could really spruce things up in the waiting room at your secret underground laboratory.
Leave a comment with the number of secret octopods you can find.
