40"x30"

Oh my gosh you guys. I just can not tell you everything about this painting. First of all, So I went down to this place in upstate New York, not the city, where it’s really a lot of green trees and green grass and green hills and all that, and the town we were near was called Greene, and we stayed in what used to be, as I understand it, a nudest camp, but a nudest camp from like the 50s, which meant that I had to duck in order to walk around in a number of the buildings, because nudists were shorter in the 50s. So wow, hope you made it through that run on. I painted this out of doors, on a little patch of land that will probably fall into a little river (probably technically a stream), overlooking said river (stream), listening to a guy I hardly knew have his way with a 50 year old lap steal and a recent vintage amp. And despite all of this, the painting is what really stands out to me. This is my best painting yet. I am probably not supposed to say that, but hell, it has a lot going for it.
