I just added two new paintings to the shop, “Whenever You Go, There You Are” and “Up to the Minute”.
These are both from my recent series of paintings using spray ink and acrylic on textured polypropylene. I’m playing around with a sort of frosted background that I achieve by spraying the polypropylene with a water soluble ink, resulting in a fine mist of nearly invisible ink droplets. Then I spray the surface with water, which causes the ink to spread out. As the water dries the ink is left behind forming a nice frosted pattern as you can see in these two paintings.
